Award shows are starting up again and with that, so begins the annual blogging about my favorites to win.  Fans could only vote for one nominee per category on the People’s Choice website.  It’s hard to pick in some cases, because I have more than one favorite in acting, film and TV choices.  Also, I’m unsure about a few categories and am leaving those with question marks.  For example, I’ve never really watched any of the competition shows that are up for an award and can’t favor any particular one over the others.

Even though my blog focuses on movies, I always find some favorite nominees in the arena of music for this award show.  Some were difficult to choose, since the main genre I listen to is classic rock.  However, there are a lot of newer and current artists I like, such as those listed below.  For categories such as favorite album, although I was familiar with the artists, I didn’t know any of the albums in entirety.  The same goes for this year’s work by the nominated Hip-Hop artists.  I also don’t consider myself a part of any fan following for that category’s nominees, even though there are songs I like among their hits.
