This year, I was most curious about the Best Supporting Actor category and it was the first group of nominees announced yesterday morning.  It also led to the first of a few surprises / snubs as Leonardo DiCaprio wasn’t nominated for “Django Unchained.”  Aside from that, many more of my favorites in acting were among the nominees and it was hard to pick one in some cases.

  • Best Costume Design: “Anna Karenina,” “Les Miserables” or “Lincoln”
